Lucia Farrow will explore the fusing of photography and ceramics, using ceramic photo decals and collage to fossilize imagery and create contemporary artefacts. The ceramic surfaces she creates are layered with photo decals and glazes. Akin to a petroglyph or a pictograph, shapes and images emerge through this resurfacing recovered from her digital footprint. The artist’s residency will culminate in her debut London solo show opening in October.

Lucia’s residency and new work is generously supported by the 2024 DYCP Grant from the Arts Council.
