Kupfer’s residency program supports emerging and underrepresented artists (in particular those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds) by providing free studio space, a monthly stipend, a materials budget, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Residents are encouraged to experiment, develop new work, and connect with the contemporary art community.
We organise regular Open Studio events, providing residents with the opportunity to engage with the public and share their creative process and work. As part of their contribution, residents also support Kupfer’s workshops and teaching activities, fostering public engagement. Through these efforts, the program advances the arts for the public benefit, enriching cultural dialogue and creating meaningful opportunities for artistic growth.
Kupfer’s residencies amplify artistic voices, facilitate cultural exchange, and nurture talent within a more inclusive and diverse cultural sector.
